What is Los Hervidores?
Los Hervidores translates to “boiling pot”, and is a stretch of cliffs along the coastline, north of Playa Blanca towards El Golfo.
What is special about Los Hervidroes?
Due to solidification of lava and constant erosion, there are lots of caves formed along the coast. The feature where water seeps in these hollow spaces resembles like a boiling pot or the sea boiling and bubbling.
When is a good time to watch Los Hervidores?
One can watch the water and cave extravaganza anytime, going down the various pathways on the cliffs and see the water below. To have an unforgettable experience here, it is good to go when there is high tide or full moon, that is when you will see water rushing in and even water gushing several meters in the air. A beautiful sight not to be missed.
