There have been a number of useful tips in various newspapers about getting better flights. As you know I like to pass these on to you. One pointer is not to keep checking a flight price on your computer this is retained and the flight goes up! One and two week flights returning on the same day are often more expensive.
If you are not tied to specific times you can often get a better deal by going one way with one company return with a different one. e.g one way Jet 2 return with Easy Jet. Gone are the days that you have to arrive on a Thursday there are flights and lots of them every day. You can have a 10 day break a 5 day break; arrive any day you wish return any day you wish; as long as we have availability of course!
