I just wanted to say that we all had a great
time last month at the villa. On our arrival, we found the key, opened
the door to find the semi final of the European Cup just kicking off!
Timing was absolutely perfect.
We all thought the villa was brilliant, and we have had several in
recent years. This was the best of the lot and the only downside to our
stay was that it was just for one week. Although we covered much of the
island during our brief stay I am sure there is a lot more to see and we
are all agreed that we will be very happy to return and stay at the
villa again.
Work and other commitments mean that this will probably not be until
next year, but you can be sure we will be in touch. Please pass our

Our week at Sol Y Mar made our holiday for us. If we had been in Playa Blanca for the whole two weeks we may never have considered coming back to Lanzarote. You were right about the cooling breezes and it was a pity that we hadn't booked our full stay with you. Your villa was perfect, beautiful location with stunning views and so wonderfully well equipped. I would say it's a certainty that you will see us again.
Our second week however was something quite different. The accomodation was somewhat lacking, definitely in the air conditioning stakes, as it was very hot with very little respite. We spent most days travelling back up towards Nazaret for the cooling breezes. It's just as well we had the car. I think the only thing Playa Blanca had going for it was the choice in restaurants!
In the end though it was probably best that we started our holiday with you as if we had done it the other way around it would have been very hard for us to leave.
On our last night in Playa Blanca we went to Aromas restaurant. Fabulous food, not much more expensive than Lag O Mar, but lacking the location and atmosphere. Thankyou for all of your recommendations and assistance. You haven't seen the last of us!

We knew Lanzarote before but it was the first time we were renting a house and I must say that Casa Albarino this August was GREAT !!!
We all enjoyed our stay in Nazaret (especially the kids who would have spent days long in the pool) and even though there was nobody at the house when we arrived we've felt welcomed.
Undoubtedly you will see us again, the quiet atmosphere of the island makes it a great spot for a relaxing holiday.
I have given your contact details to many friends (and the website address) who are looking for a place to spend the autumn holidays, so maybe you will see more french people.

The villa was fantastic and had everything we could possibly had wanted, it’s location was simply amazing. Staying there has made us wish we could live there permanently!!

Thank you for your latest email. Yes, we really did enjoy ourselves. Thank you and your team for arranging what was probably the best and most relaxing holiday we have had in at least 30 years.
The villa facilities were excellent, the view from the patio was superb and the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings were just what we wanted; it really did live up to its name of ‘another adventure’. We have not stopped talking about it since we arrived home and our family, friends, and work colleagues will soon be bombarded with the many photographs we took during our stay.
We so much want to return and if you have availability in September, possible arrival dates 6th, 8th, 11th or 13th, please let me know, any of the villas in Oasis de Nazaret would be fine. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks also to you, Jayne, Manda and Kate for being so wonderful to us. We really did feel very welcome and Solymar was a real home from home. We had a great second week - it was hot, hot, hot (no complaints at all!) so we spent a lot of time just relaxing at the villa. Emma loved the keyboard and trying to play table tennis.
On our last full day we went to Arrieta beach - bit of a tradition - and played football on the beach, paddled with the Emma and Tom and just enjoyed the warm air and peace. Some of the things we love so much about the North of the island particularly is that it's so quiet, we never feel hassled, rushed or crowded. We came home with many happy memories.
Anyway, thanks again to you all for helping us to have such a great holiday.

Thank you for your email. We had a great holiday in Montana Vista this Easter it was perfect just what we were looking for.
We were really happy with our accommodation It was a real treat to be welcomed with more than just a bottle of water in the fridge, especially after such a long journey and the villa and all the amenities were perfect for us.
I’m sorry that we didn’t have a chance to meet, we’re usually exhausted at the beginning of any holiday and take a day or two of sleep and rest to recover from London and travelling. However, we did manage to see lots during our week with visits to Famara Beach, where we had an incredible lunch of roast goat with another lunch in Arrieta with the afternoon spent at one of the lovely beaches next to Orzola.
We also went to Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca, Costa Teguise as well as Teguise itself. So having driving virtually across the whole island, we really feel that we got to know it very well. One of our best meals was at Lagomar, which was really spectacular with fantastic food, while at the other local restaurant in Nazaret, the service was not particularly friendly although the food was good.
We would definitely return to Lanzarote again in the future, as there is still so much to explore and the island fits our style of holiday very well.
Next time we’ll take your advice and be in touch a little earlier.Thank you again for making our first visit so memorable and enjoyable.

Thank you so much for our stay this Easter it was a real tonic for all of us! Unfortunately, we were far too laid back to enjoy all that Lanzarote had to offer and therefore will need to come again.
The highlights for us were; Villa Shibui, beautifully clean and excellent facilities, Cesar Manrique foundation, cactus gardens and Mirador Del Rio, and the wonderful fish restaurant in Arriete, as recommended by you.
We have returned to a cold and windy Cornwall and are already dreaming about our next escape. Your daughters mentioned some other villas in Oasis Nazarete? Our next visit will have to be during school holidays, so understand that availability might be restricted. Perhaps you could let us know how things stand.
We will not hesitate to recommend LVD to all our friends.

Just got back from a week in Aly and Donnys beautiful retreat in Macher. We have rented villas and gites many times in many places and we have found without doubt the best of them all.
The location was great and the directions made it easy to found. Our hosts were great and extremely friendly whilst giving us complete space which given our busy life was exactly what we needed.
The standard of accomodation was brilliant and Alys and Donnys finishing touches were so well thought out we were instantly relaxed without any hassles. Complete diamond in your collection could not recommend them or yourselves highly enough.

We've had such a wonderful time at Albarino that we were sorry to leave. It was definitely the best place we stayed at and hope to return in the future. The island is booming and we were impressed by so many new roads and agricultural developments.
We've eaten in many wonderful places and gained more pounds than we'd like to admit!
Luckily we didn't have to pay any extra for the excess kilos we had with us.

Dear Jan,I'd also like to thank you for all your help whilst we were on holiday. We had a fabulous time and for the first time I can remember, Richard did not want to return home! Usually by the twelfth day he's ready to return but this time he was very reluctant to leave. The privacy element coupled with the fabulous villa really made the holiday for us and Imogen was in her element in the pool! We did indeed get to the dolphin and whale museum which Alistair thoroughly enjoyed which is more than can be said for the camel ride I had to endure for Imogen! The 'pollos' shop was the hit of the trip though but we were sad that they were closed on a Wednesday so we couldn't have our chosen 'last meal!'
I have recommended LVD to a few of my colleagues Jan though whether they'll be that organised before Christmas remains to be seen! We hope to see you again in the near future but once again - thank you.

We certainly did have a wonderful holiday this August and the accomodation was by far the best we have stayed in.
Alistair did indeed experience the dolphin and whale museum and commented it was the best one he had been to.
Thank you for all your help with our holiday. Both Julie and myself were initally a little anxious about arranging a holiday independently, however, we would have no hesitation about booking through your website again. During my life I have found that perfection is almost impossible to achieve, but what we had during the last week must be as close to it as one can get. We all agreed the Villa was out of this world for location, fittings, equipment and ease of access. Both Margaret and myself enjoyed tremendously showing the kids??? the island, they were very impressed especially with the Fire Mountain trip. We knew full well there were going to be lots of changes since we were last there, some good some not so good. The main attractions had changed very little except for small improvements and some very good new ones, as one would expect. The massive sprawling development at Playa Blanca was heart breaking, but I guess inevitable. We haven't been on holiday as a family since 1973 and this holiday was enhance with the presence of the 2 in-laws. I thought when I booked this holiday that I would try just a week in order to see how we all get on living in close harmony, now I know that all is well I wish it had been 2 weeks, so that is a good indicator for the future. I would like to finish by thanking you so much for your kind help in all respects, for making the holiday such a great success. I'm just writing to say thankyou for allowing us to stay in your lovely villa Montana Vista at Easter. It was our first visit to Lanzarote and it will not be our last. We had a great time with our friends Martina and Tilbert and I was able to inspect the surf school at Famara on behalf of the BSA - I can reccommend Surf school lanzarote to any of your future clients. Nazaret is an ideal base for a relaxing and interesting time away from the hectic "Costa" lifestyle. Thankyou, too, for organising the car hire which was the easiest I have ever encountered.

Rad and I would like to thank you very much for making our week at Shibui so perfect. Please pass on our thanks to everyone who made us very welcome and also to Martina for such an efficient service with the car rental. We really did enjoy our week on Lanzarote and wish it could have been longer. We managed to visit most of the places of interest - although I find the whole island fascinating - including a camel ride! The main tourist areas have grown a great deal in the 14 years since I was last on the island but the development seems to be mostly in keeping with Cesar Manrique's views on low rise buildings. Shibui is in a great position away from the main tourist areas but close enough to be reached easily when necessary. Thank you again very much for everything and we will return to work this week feeling relaxed and with memories of a wonderful holiday.

Spent Christmas 2003 at Villa Anchusa; we have spent
the time since our return telling everyone how wonderful
it was, we haven't had time to tell you! Everything
was perfect - the location one of the best on the
island, if not THE best. A warm welcome awaited
(actually, chilled and in the fridge - lovely!).
Our chauffeur for the Monday evening was extremely
polite and courteous - thanks James! Christmas day
sipping bubbly on the terrace of La Cabana with
you all will be sorely missed (as will Darren's
excellent sticky toffee pudding). Thanks Jan, Manda,
Kate, James for making our holiday truly relaxing
and stress-free - just what a holiday should be!

Paradise on earth is the only way to describe Jans
private villas in Lanzarote! its just heavan staying
in them. A real home from home. The views from all
of the villas are absolutley breath taking. To sit
out on the terrace in the warm evening air sipping
a glass of Lanzarote wine while watching the sun
go down over the Timanfaya National Park is something
you must experience. We are already thinking about
our next holiday on Lanzarote because we love Jan

A private luxury villa booking direct with the owner...pefect
just what we wanted. Villa Shibui was everything
we could have wished for and more. The private heated
pool, the ideal location in Oasis de Nazaret,everything was
perfect for our Canary Island holiday. You think
of everything to make us feel welcome, so that by
the time the holiday has ended we feel like cosseted
members of some sort of exclusive club! No wonder
we come back each year...Lanzarote, beautiful island,
fantastic weather and excellent accomodation. We
would be hard pressed to find the equivalent elswhere
and certainly not at the reasonable prices you charge.
The only thing to keep me going right now are the
memories of Lanzarote... drinking tinto sitting
outside a little bodeguita in Teguise, watching
the shooting stars in the sky, sunbathing next to
the pool. Cant wait for next year. Thank you Lanzarote

You will not come across such high standards of
accomadation in affordable luxury private villas

Just spent a few of the most wonderful weeks of
our lives in Casa Albariño. What a setting!
What a luxurious house! What comfort! What a garden!
What a perfect pool! What a relaxing time in spectacular
weather! Most importantly, however ... what service
provided by Jan and the 'entire gang' of Lanzarote
Villas Direct! I truly can't recommend LVD highly
enough. No stone is left unturned, nothing is too
much trouble, anything and everything is done to

Just returned from a 2 week stay in Villa Oasis which exceeded our expectations and set the scene
for a perfect holiday. Everything went smothly from
the booking over the internet, to picking up the
car at the airport all the way through to its return
at the end of the holiday. Booking was really easy
just contact Jan who always responded to our emails
with quick, helpful and imformative replies.

Just come back from a wonderful holiday in Villa
Shibui. Couldn't have asked for a more luxurious
villa to "chill out" in. The privacy around
the pool area and the lovely views were an added
bonus. I think this is our 9th year with LVD, a
huge compliment to Jan, Jayne, Mand and Kate and
the quality of villas offered. Going home is always
a wrench and not made easier by the wait at the
airport. However, this time we decided to pay our
£10/per head to go and sit in the "posh"
lounge. It was the best £10 we've ever spent!
Comfy chairs, newspapers, free drinks (inc wine
and spirits), snacks, sandwiches and absolutely
no queueing to use the very presentable loos! The
best thing was not having to queue when the gate
number to our flight came up on the screen. It's
only when the queue had considerably diminished
that we were called for boarding! Will definately
use the lounge again!

equiped the pool deck and gardens really secluded

Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed
our recent holiday in Lanzarote. We were impressed
at the ease of booking (via the Internet), the quality
of the villas and their homely facilities, the lovely
swimming pool and, most of all, our welcoming hosts.
In the week spent on the island, we managed to explore
many of Lanzarote's attractions, tasted the seafood
and local wines and appreciated the local art and

"It does exactly what it says on the can!"
A really relaxing villa with everything required
for a good holiday. In fact,leaving the villa and
pool to explore the island was very hard to do,
and we really like Lanzarote!
If you have never booked by the "net"
and are worried, then don't be! They are totally
100% and very helpful.

Recently enjoyed another holiday with LVD. This
time we stayed at Villa Ancusha and enjoyed it's
magnificent views and sunsets. The large secluded
pool area was very impressive and the surrounding
wall sheltered us from the strong breeze. As usual
the organisational skills of Jan and the girls made
it, yet again, a memorable holiday. We will be back.

For those people who have never booked a holiday
over the internet it can be a daunting experience
, will the villas live up to our expectations? what
about the location? Can I trust the people involved
? With Lanzarote Villas Direct there is no such trepidation.On arrival
at the airport we found a helpful representative
from the car hire company waiting to greet us and
within ten minutes were driving towards the mountains
following the excellent directions provided. On
arrival at our villa we couldn't believe our luck
at choosing a home from home, complete with sattelite
TV and all mod cons including a dishwasher.
Not to mention the coooled bottle of cava waiting
in the fridge

I did say, way back in November 2004 'Watch This
Space', so here is the update!
August 2005 and we have just returned from 2 weeks
in the beautiful Villa Albarino - What a gem! It
was so peaceful, the scenery was idyllic, the villa
a joy and we spent two wonderful weeks holidaying
on our fabulous Lanzarote. What can I say, 'our
girls' were so chilled out, our little 3 year old
learnt to swim in the pool (everybody clap ~ she
swam 5 metres)!
Jan and 'her girls' were great and nothing was to
much trouble for them. Everything was waiting for
us when we arrived and the villa was absolutely
spotless.
